Lovely Liverpool La

I forgot to say, I had a fab weekend in Liverpool. Bizzarely, one of the bars had a double toilet for ladies who like to wee with friends. How elegant! Just in case you were wondering, I don't normally take pictures of toilets. This was the first!

We also went to a wicked little veggie and vegan cafe in Liverpool, called
The Egg Cafe. There were so many vegan choices that deciding what to have was a bit of an ordeal. Choosing pudding, however, was not so hard as they sold vegan chocolate tiffin. Mmmmmm, chocolate!

Finally, a visit to
Croxteth Home Farm
rounded up the weekend in a fluffy and
lovely way. We all had fun stroking and loving the animals. There were ponies, donkeys, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens and all sorts of cows. I particularly enjoyed the highland cattle. There were baby ones...awwww. I really want some! Pleeease!

Ta ra for now la xxxx

My first obsession for my first blog!

Howdy!

This week I have mainly been obsessed with a website called 'Albino Blacksheep'. In particular, I have been repeatedly watching funny videos about a guinea pig, llamas and a cat.

As usual, I have been obsessing about bad punctuation. My top pet peeve is the misuse of the sacred apostrophe! Grrrr! This week I feel very pleased with myself, as I have taken a pen and filled in the missing apostrophe from my neighbour's cinema pass. It has been hung on his notice board for a month and has been bugging me since I saw it. If you share my hatred of bad punctuation I highly reccomend The Apostrophe Protection Society!

Finally, I have been obsessing about my dissertation, which is now due in 11 days (and counting!). I still have about 4,000 words to write. Boo hoo hoo. It is about the survival of Anglo Saxon language into Modern English and questions why more Celtic didn't survive. Feel free to share any info you have on these topics!

Right, that is enough distraction from my work for one day. More soon!

Love and Llamas,
OCPD lady

p.s. OCPD = Obsissive Compulsive Punctuation Disorder!
